I've been thinking about purchasing a KLV351P, but have read some folks on this board talking about problems with the preamp malfunctioning. Seems there have been some problems with the preamp not working except for only a second or so after keying up.

Is this typical of this amp? Can the problem be solved permanently?

Also, what class amplifier is the 351P?
