I have a new TS Sweet Sixteen that seems to be having relay problems. Whenever I try to transmit on SSB, the relays go nuts, you can hear them chattering from across the room. I've shut down operation until I can figure out what's going on, any help would be appreciated!

BTW, I'm driving the amp with a Yaesu FTDX-1200 at it's lowest setting (5 watts). Also using a power mic (Turner +2), put am keeping the modulation down low.

THE SWEET SIXTEEN requires high drive. You are starving it. On ssb I feed it with up to 100 pep or better . on AM 2 watt dead key to 100 watt swing. Also on SSB make sure your SSB switch is on. I have had mine for over 10 years. TAKES A LICKING AND STILL KEEPS A KICKING.
