What is the max.voltage I can run into it and still have max. reliability(13.8 right now),have a homemade supply with adjustable voltage,35 amps cont. 70 amps inter.Have a 100,000mfd cap.on output should I switch it to input.Using 10 ga. wire and having 2 volt drop, should I go to 6 or 8 ga.Even with this much drop on ssb modulation is crisp and clean. One more thing is 32 watts ssb a bit much for this unit(4-sd1446 pills)?would appreciate all info you have on this. I know you are extremely busy working and moderating,so I'll be patient.Thank you so very much,Big Bob.

The Bommer 400 can safley take 15v. 8ga wire would handle the current draw without any loss. Any stiffening cap should be placed right at the amp.
