Does a power mic sound better on a mobile?I have a astatic 636 and I was thinking of getting a astatic road devil.How are these mics?Anyone have one?Dose a power mic make your radio sound louder or increase the modulation?Thanks for your response.Looking forward to hearing about power mics

Astatic make a fine microphone. Yes power mics make you louder.

Gotta Astatic 575 power mic with a 4 pin hookup for it.It worked pretty good on my Uniden that I used to run.It's gotta 4 pin plug on it now so not much I can do with it until I get it wired for my Maxon,and I don't even know if I wanna do that.
