Can you please tell me what the best type and size solder to use when working on a CB.I have a soldering iron that has 20 watt low and 40 watt high.Which one do you reccomend-low or high when do mods?...........Thanks for your help

Westwind,

Keep the iron as cool as possible to help prevent component and trace damage, I use, and recommend .032" 60/40 rosin core solder. Perhaps a little thick for some folks tastes but good all around.
