I recently got my hands on a Boomer 600 new in the box. I saw an ad on another site that sells a books that contains changeover mods for this amp. Is there anything I need to do to it before I use it?

Skullman : I've owned two Boomer 600 and four 400 boxes.Mine were class AB and nothing was required to use them for normal 10 or 11 meter use.Sometimes someone will desire to use them in competition keydowns and will have them converted to C class. There is one strange thing I never could figure out, both of my 600's wouldn't do over 400.on the other hand all of 400's would do 450 with my Galaxy 77 driving them.

Thanks vernonott. I just saw that in an ad selling a $40 book. Guess they thought I'd fall for it. Thanks again.
