Techs,I have a "Bandit"Base antenna that has had
almost perfect swr readings (around 1.3).On rainy
days I can check my swr and it about pegs my swr
needle.I checked the swr on a damp night then again the next day when the sun was out and the swr was good to go again.Any suggestions?I'm still using RG58 coax because I can't afford the big stuff right now.Any ideas? Thanks

Ok well,I just figured out that it's not the coax
and it's nothin to do with rainy days. There's a loose connection somewhere in my antenna.Does
anybody have any idea how to get inside the antenna to resolder the connections? Thanks

The I-Max is the way to go. 24 feet of super broadbanding and ZERO SWR problems.

Try to have the base of it mounted at least 30 feet from ground level.
