How do I disable the noise blanker switch on my radio? I want the noise blanker to be permanently on, and I want to use the switch on the front of the radio to turn off and on a roger beep. I'm not a fan of drilling holes in a radio chassis-front or back.

on the back of the switch check with a ohm meter to find out which 2 wires go together to turn on the nb.disconnect them from the switch and solder them together and if there are any others there check them also with a meter and see if they have to be connected and do whichever is needed.hope this helps a little.

put a switch in the back of your radio by the coax connector, that way you dont see it and still have your noise blanker.
