i got my ss3900 from copper,2 months ago.it work great for a stock radio.i put roger beep on a switch on back of radio,i removed the four resisters ,opened up the clarifier,
10khz on a switch,restored 10 meter channels.
all that need to be done.i lost the option to calibrate, only go up to 3 on signal bars.i can live with that.sunday we had big thunder storm.i forgot to disconnect coxial (antenna grounded,i didn't get around to grounding the radio.now can't trasmit.receive works great.no wattage output or audio from radio.it won't move needle on external meters.i can't see anything fried inside.what can i check?is it feasible to send it to copper to repair or buy a new one?a shame didn't even got a chance to break it in.thanks for any help.if it wasn't for badluck , i'll have no luck at all.
