Hi. Where is the audio chip in a President P400 (Same thing as a President Washington or a Uniden Washington?) located, and what is it's designation? The reason I ask is that this crazy radio has no audio coming from the speaker..even though it does transmit, and the S meter moves on xmit/xcv. On this forum, I have been told to check the mic. plug, or the mic. plug on the radio side for a loose wire. Well, I will finally get a chance to open this radio up and try to diagnose the problem this Monday. Thanks for your help!

Looking doen into the radio , it is mounted against the side. It is an SIP (Single Inline Package) about 9 pins. It is a TA-7222AP or a KIA-7222AP.
