307 I have a Galaxy SSB which is a dule final radio, one step above the Melaka. The problem is it's been modified but it puts out 1w and swings to 20W and thats all the Tecks around here can get out of it some of my friend single Melakas with singal finals (on my Wattmeter) puts out any where from 27W to as much as 35W my Dule final should put out more than a single final radio, is it possible to send the radio back to the factory and have them check it out? I appreciate any help or advise you have to offer (Factory address) |

turn the dead key to 2watts and you will get a little more.if i was you order a book from copper on that radio and it will tell you what you need to do plus more. |

Believe it or not , It is not the "Dual" final or "Single" final that puts out more power. It is the way the circuit was designed around the Final(s) that sets the power output. Dual Finals do not mean more power. The Melaka is designed extremely well in the Final area and it has much more efficiency. The better the efficiency , the more power output. I know the Galaxy SSB very well and max power from from it is 20 watts...Unless you have a "Happy Reading" meter... 307 |
