A local CB shop is closing down. He found in old inventory 6 New in Box K40-8 speech processors radios. Not the mini or small ones but the full size. Does anyone know if these are still being produced ? I can only find the small ones K40-7 being sold. They have a old price tag of $249.00 on the boxes but has asked me to make him a offer. Are these the K40's most people talk about. They have analog meter and std. controls. Anybody have any info on them? |

Wow, now I would love one of those babies! I have no idea if they are still making them, all I see are the small ones. I would say you have a nice little treasure there. |

Hmm I had a K 40 radio once when i was still in high school and it was NOT what i expected. I have a K 40 mike though and the only way it will work right is if you put it on a BONE bare stock radio that has never been tuned up. |

I am hoping to buy all six. but dont know what I can get them for. I am not sure about the reputation but have hear only good thing on this model. K40-8.... Anybody have any experience with this model? What Can I resell these for? |
