I get a ton of emails with the same question. "How big of power wires should I use with my amp?" The answer is simple. If you are unsure , using two pins poked into the positive and negative wires RIGHT AT THE AMP (where they go in) measure the voltage with the amp keyed up and on FULL power. Then measure the voltage at the battery with it keyed up at FULL power. Subtract the two. You should have less than 1 volt drop. If you do and your battery is good , replace the wires to the amp with at least two sizes larger. ALWAYS run positive and Negative directly to the battery to reduce ground looping.
