I got a question about transisters. There is two finals that I have on radio. One is C1304 and other is C1419. Say for instance I have a C1306. Is there a big diffence between those two. As far as the C1419 wich other transisters can I replace it with? Or do I have to replace with exact number.Thanks........

You can replace them but it is recommended that you have the SAME transistors (matched numbers), this way one will not over work the other and it will be more balanced.

Thanks 307.....I've been tinkerin with this Grant. I replaced 2sc1306 Driver. Replaced 2sc1307 final and there was another final right next to antenna. It was a 2sc1419 it to was also replaced. I also checked for burnt diodes around those finals, didn't find any. Still RX is fine But TX is dead. Another thing I noticed was I had the cover off and transmitted on SSB. I don't know what you call it, It's in the middle of PCB, RL1. I assume it's a Relay of some kind. Anyways, it started chatering like a big dog when keyed up on SSB. Question: The Uniden TF 136 Audio Output Modulation Transformer, The two red wires coming off of it what kind of voltage should those be putting out? Also Could it be the 10 pin Power Amp/modulator IC. Once again 307, I know it's hard to diagnose via Email. But your my only hope. I don't have any Techs worth anything out here in the Desert. Thanks...........
