Hey guys and gals - I have just aquired a Civil Defense Radio...or so it seems. There are Civil Defense Louisville stickers on it next to the GE symbols, and a tag on the inside that says Louisville Police Department. That tag says it operates on a freq. of 37.1 mc.

The radio has two sections to it - receiver, and transceiver....the transcevier side has LARGE tubes in it, and a rotory generator.

Anyone know anything about it?

Robbie

I published photos of it on my website... if you have any questions about it please feel free to email me :) I'd really like to find out more about this unit...
