Does anyone know where I can get a NE571N IC (you can kind of see where I'm going with this)? I've looked around, but no one has them. If anyone can provide me with a source for them I'd greatly appreciate it.

Monster , Get a little more specific with the request please. What is it out of? I probably have one and will send it to you but I need to cross it over. Is it an NEC571N or just NE571N?

I almost forgot, the "NE" and "SA" prefixes, I can't find the manufacturer's name in any of my books. I think it's ?netics or something like that.

307: I'm kind of experimenting. The IC NE571N is a Compandor. From what I've found the equivalents are NE570, and SA571 also haven't been able to find any of those either. I've used the NE571N in a spin-off design of CBCI's speech processor, back in '89 or '90
I still have the circuit, however I don't have any ICs on hand. Thanx in advance for any help you can give me....73s "Monster"

SS8541: I just checked out the link you reccomended. Although the end result, and IC is the same I used a different design. If I could get my mits on some of those ICs I would have tried his design, oh well back to the drawing board. I'll have to look at different ICs. I plan to email schematics and plans (free of charge) for everyone interested when I come up with something.

307: See I told ya this was a tough one...LOL (BTW do I win a trophy or hat or something, I stumped the Tech) Anywho THANX for your time and assistance!
