I was recently driving across Wyoming and my radio started ticking(coax actually), I unplugged it and got a slight jolt when i touched the tip of the coax! any ideas of what that was from? It doesnt do it now just then for about thirty minutes.

Wcrotts,

Check your ground on both the antenna and the radio. Seems that there may be static building up in the coax somehow. Was you in the mountains near very dry air (low humidity)?
