i have a xt400 and when i put my meter on and key up the mod. goes off the scale have tried two radios and tried to turn the mod. all the way down and it still does it what can i do to fix?have not cut t53 just turned pot / meters are dosy3001 and a dee both say the same thing

you cant use a mod meter with an amp. it will pegit like crazy. That meter isnt designed to be ran with an xt400 and read mod.

Insufficient grounding of the amp, antenna, body to frame, or any combination.

i have 102' whip that has a 6gauge to frame 6 gauge from neg of amp to frame with a 4 gauge to bat. where do i need to ground now?

do u mean i need to ground the amp case to frame too? the only thing that is not grouned to the frame is the radio or do i need to do this also ? thanks for any help the {the almost grounding expert}thanks again for the help
