I just brought a Palomar 250 Gold. How much current does this amp require, also what size fuze do I need in case I need a replacement? I'm going to change the power leads to 12awg copper stranded, and don't want to fry anything.

BENNY,

AMP Draw (Continuous) 17 Amps)
Amp Draw (Maximum) 21 Amps

Fuse: SFE-20 AMP

Hope this helps!

Tech 808 whats the current draw for boomer 400 and 600 continuous and peak?

Bigbob, on these I will have to leave it up to one of the other techs as I have not had any of these amps yet or experience with them.

Approximately.....
400 - 38 amps
600 - 52 amps
That's max, that's what I'd plan around.

Actually, it's right on "the edge". Your supply is likely 40a "surge". You might leave the ole hammer in second gear.....

Ok, I thought you were speaking of the "typical" 40a supply, which is usually 40 surge. You'll definately be AOK
