i dont know why but i was on the air yesterday sandbaging and the two guys signals were going up and down and they were on base stations.i know they werent using amps.one guys signal would go from a 1 then up to a 5.why would my signal meter do this?..should i get it recalibrated? |

Faulty coax connections in his rig can cause this,so can atmospheric conditions or your agc is acting up(that's automatic gain control,for the unlearned)or he's playing with his rfpower control while he's transmitting. |
