I have a Cherokee CM-10 radio I am trying to get ready to go live with... I have been unable to get the dead-key to drop below 1.99 watts. Anyone know how to get it to go lower?

Also, the receive meter is WAYYYY low on this thing, any ideas what pot or trimmer adjusts the receive meter display?

One last thing, this radio has no external mic gain on it. Any adjustment I can make to lower the gain so I don't have to keep the mic almost 10 inches from my mouth? I am used to keeping it really close while talking.

Thanks in advance!
