i did the vco alighnment by the book,now channel 23,24 25 on each band are mixed up.channel 23 is 25,25 is 24 and 23 is 24.now what do i do?the vco i did consists of,connect voltmeter to tp2 (bar lead od r-116)set to channel 40 adjust l-17 to 5 volt.set band to a set channel selector to 1 check tp2 for 1.5volt.and it fixed that problem now the mixed up channels,just the 3 channels on each band.thanks,jyd

I am not sure where you got the "book" , however the alignment is exactly the same as the Melaka. The Melaka Alignment I wrote up is in the Subscibe area of the Forum. Try doing it the way I say..The VCO Alignment has nothing to do with three channels being mixed up. Email me direct if you have trouble , we will get it straight..

JYD, what do you mean by 'mixed up". If your talking about frequency, channel 23 is higher in frequency than 24 and 25. When they went to 40 channels, they went back and picked up those two Rc channels. On the cb band, 23= 27.255, 24= 27.235, and 25= 27.245.

i did the same vco alignment as the galaxy 88.
