My channel readout just went blank. It shouldn't be blown. I just did a lower channel mod. Tested all frequencies and everything was working fine. I turned the radio back on later and the channel readout was just blank. I just reversed the channel mod and it's still blank. It was working fine for 2 days! Any ideas?

There is an 8 volt regulator on the right side looking into the componant side of the radio. It most likely has the "Center" pin lifted from the trace.
