Well guys, trying to unlock clarifier on Cobra 2000gtl. I did procedure as follows: Cut R44 and D52 then Jumped R174.Took yellow wire from knob and cut it and solder to Ground source on board. Then it said to take Red wire from knob and solder it to 8v power source on pin #3 of the mb3756ic and take the brown wire off knob..Well I dont have a red wire on knob, only orange.....I've done this mod on my 148gtl and it worked like a charm...Since this rig has a course and fine....Is there something I missed....Any input from you guys here on forum or from techs would be much appreciated......Thanks |

Hey 307, thanks for Email...Worked like a charm.....I was thinking about running a 20k 10 turn pot....There is a NTE dealer here in town...wich pot do you recomend.......there's a couple of them to choose from... any info would be appreciated....... |

20K is the BEST one to use. They are cheap as well , about 8 bucks for a really good one with a long shaft so it looks good after you trim it an put the factory knob back on...
