Is a 485 a good radio?.....my neighbor has one never used IN THE BOX and it is nice lookingbut will it compare to a 148 in audio? |

i did a tune up a sometime ago
on 485 nice radio peolple thought it was a grant and side was very very good tx and rx was even better hope this helps ps it looks great to |

I traded him a couple of new take off tires for it. I did a tuneup on it from info found on the internet...........It is a loud radio but for some reason Colt didn't think it necessary to put a Mike gain control in the radio, that is the only issue I have with this radio. Great receiver. |

I have a Colt Black Shadow SSB, seems to be a nice radio. I don't use it much, I always got good reports with this radio! |
