Good friend of mine bought a pallet of merchandise from a storage center over the weekend.Included on the pallet was several boxes of radio's and electronic equimpment which he gave to me.Well,a galaxy sirius was in one of them.I checked it out and the radio transmit's fine, but is not on frequency. It has A,B,and C band setting's.The manual say's the radio will go from 26.065 to 27.405.When i put it on a Frequency counter it wont show the regular CB channel's in neither band position.Look's like somebody has re-soldered the 4 wire's going from the band switch to the main board. Not sure if they are in the right place.Any info on this radio will be apreciated.

The SIRUS frequencys are Europeon and are off from US (I believe). I think you will see something like channel 21 = 27.2135 or something like that and so on through out the band. I have one in the closet and it is the same way. There were a few of these weird ones on the market for long time. The Sirus can be aligned for US frequencies though...

Thank's for the info 307.I dont know if it make's any difference or not but the Galaxy mobile i have has Sirius on the front of it.I also have the box it came in and it has Sirius on it to.This radio is acting a little strange though.Act's as if the vco isnt locking or something. In band A it's reading all 40 channel's in the 25mhz band.On band B and C all 40 channel's are in the 26mhz range.Oh well, for no more than it is i'm not gonna put a whole lot of time into it.Thank's again for your reply and Happy Holiday's to all.
