hey, i just purchased a vr 9000 from copper with the peak and tune, when i first turn the radio on it will work fine then a few seconds it will go blank and the freq counter will be changing frequency`s, is it just because it has to warm up?

ok well i got my rma number or whatever it is, however do I have to pay for shipping agian? this has been a major hassle considering this was a christmas gift
