I have a G.E. 3-5804D 40 channel AM mobile with the pll02a in it. Is there a way to put a 10kc switch in? The radio has been expanded already. Your wisdom is greatly appreciated!

how about a 20 kc jump First you will need any center off switch next cut trace on pin 14 next put a 3.3k resistor across the cut , on the switch top put wire back to board ground. center pole put wire to pin 14, bottom of pole put wire to 5.3volts. try pin no 12

The two chips that give the "Ten Meter" radios a "plus ten" function just aren't in that radio to start with. The next-best thing is a center-off toggle switch. It will take you down one channel to get two of the five "skipped" RC channels, and up one channel to get the other three. Lightning's description above is okay, but use pin number 1 to get the 5-Volt side of the center-off switch, NOT pin 12.

I did just what you said, except pin 15. Viola! 10kc jump. Thanks, Spike.
