i have an older turner + 2 mic that i'm trying to wire to a four pin uniden radio. i have found wiring diagrams on the internet the only trouble is this mic has no blue wire in it. it has shield ,red , white and black. i know it is the original cord. did turner change their wiring over the years

Yes they changed the wire when they came out with the 3's & Plus 3's

Your 4 wire cord you have should be:

TX = BLACK
MOD = WHITE
REC = RED
SHIELD = SHIELD/BRAID

It Should wire to 4 PIN UNIDEN:

PIN #1 ~ SHIELD / GROUND
PIN #2 ~ WHITE / AUDIO
PIN #3 ~ BLACK / TRANSMIT
PIN #4 ~ RED / RECEIVE
