I am new to this forum and just bought a dx48t,really dont know anybody to tune and peak my radio. Guess since its been opened up with alot of channels does it need to be I guess peaked and tuned? already did the channel conversion but want to know if more can be done to this radio to get the best performance out of it without removing the limiter. I did take the limiter out and found out thats a big NO NO! so I put it back in, cause this model is really distorted when the limiter is missing. anyway the radio works awesome but just need to know who would be the best qualified to work on this model? and how much it would cost to get it done cause probably have to send by u.p.s to get it to and from the technician.I really dont want to send to some body and never receive my radio back as I have read and heard stories of people never getting there radios back. hope to hear from some tech's about this.thanks |

I'm guessing you're in FL so maybe 307 would be the most cost effective and least shipping time. If he's backlogged too bad let me know. |
