i checked the output wattage with switch on high (50 watts) with 4 watts in. On low i get 20-25 watts
can you tell me what i should check? and shouldn't my output be at least 80 watts
The transistor is MRF455

With a single 455 your input carrier should be about 1-1.5w, the output carrier about 20-30w on hi, then when you modulate she may do 80w peak.
