I was wondering if this radio is the same as General Lee? As in board and modification? They both have the same features and bands so just wondered if it would mod the same? Any help would be great.

They are not the same. I did tune a Maverick for a fellow today. No limiters removed, and that must have been one of the most bodacious sounding rigs I have ever heard.
