I would like to record my dx cotacts with the record jack on my 2990.This works fine on AM but on SSB I sound like I was receiving a SSB signal while in AM mode.The other stations will record just like what I hear them through the speaker.Can anyone help me with this????

Get an adapter at radio shack that will allow you to plug your recorder into the phone jack, 1/8 mono to 1/4 mono.
