what omni directional antenna will work in a residentail setting, that will not cause interference using 4 watts.

Please read the Article that Tech 833 Wrote in the SUBSCRIBER (Preview) Section.

It is titled (How to choose a Ground Plane Antenna.)

He spent a great deal of time writing this, very good article and it should answer any questions you may have.
