I have a Cobra 148 GTL ST here. SSB is fine. No AM RX or TX mod. AM carrier is Okay. What should I check??

Are you saying the receive is ok on SSB and that transmit is fine on SSB as well but neither on AM? If so , that is a winner of the ???? award. Will try to help after you answer this post...
