Some of my friends are popping pills, burning diodes, and blowing resistors in their amps. I've never owned any "Fan Cooled Amps", but I was under the impression that fan cooled amps will give you unlimited key down times. Is there a quote somewhere stating max keydown times for Class C am amps fanned or not? Say 10, or 20 seconds a key? I've never blown any of my un-fanned amps(Bragging, not complaining).

Unlimited would depend on many variables being optimum. Current and ground supply, reflection, and drive. Dropping transistors is usually a result of too much reflection or drive, sometimes in combination with too little current or ground.
You can run a drag car (some) on the street, but care must be taken. Running No2 in traffic probably isn't a good idea.
