does anybody know where i can get a jackson faceplate "silver face" also is there a swing mod
for this radio it does 35 whats on ssb but on
am it dead keys 6 and swing only to 18

The Jacksons are great radios,I have 3, 1 blackface and 2 silverface.One of the sliverfaced has wear marks around the channel knob.I've tried to e-mail President several times to see if I could get a new faceplate but they never wrote back.If I could speak French it would be be worth it to me to call them direct.If you can get them to respond let me know.You would probably have to settle on a black faceplate,the silverfaced haven't been manufactured in years.All 3 of mine key about 8 watts and swing to 20-25 watts on a Radio Shack digital meter.

Hi we got one of the silver faced one too but I think its the plane one with no name on it and
and Its called a clone jackson and has the big heat sink on the back of the radio and mine keys up on AM with about 25watts and about 45-50 on sideband had the rig for 15years or so and we've had no problems with it used it as a base too
but to use as a mobile we have to run the engine
too LOL to keep the meter lites from dimming on key ups |
