what is the best way to hook a connex board up in a regular cobra 29ltd classic with mic in front not sound tracker or night watch and a older cobra 29xlr through the audio wire or the center tab on the dynamike and i need to know were an 8 volt power source is or the location of one so I can find it myself to much trouble to go through everything to find one and some of yall already know were it is

The center tab on the Dynamike is the best place because you can limit the input to the Echo Board. Keep the coax's as SHORT as possible and terminate each end with the sheild to board ground NOT chassis. You can use an LM7808 (Radio Shack) for your 8 volt supply...Very easy to install....OR the 8 volts that drives the Display is another source...

"307" is the 8 volt that drives the display on the little board that the channel selector is on and does it have a number or does it run from the main board to the small board and does it have a number for example: (tr-23) and would the example work for my power source it is suposse to have some where around 8 volts but i dont know about when recievieing or transmiting does it change
