It's either RMSx 2.828 = peak or, RMS x1.41 = peak. which one is the correct one??

1.4 is peak, 2.8 is pep

I thought that pep (Peak Envelope Power) was the same as peak power. In other words, is a "modulated Swing" in watts called peak? Ohhhhh, I get it now! Peak is for AM, and PEP is for sideband! I'm such a genius! Thanks.
