I just picked up a Robyn SB-510D, it's a side band rig and is in good shape and appears very stable on SSB. It slides about 6 kc's and has been modified for extra freqs. Can any tell me anything about this radio? thanks. sb106

I have one and it was great rat radio until the extra channels went out then it did about 3 mhz. I have jumped the cuts on the traces and here soon I will see if that fixed my prob.

Aside from that I had no problems. It is a talking Son of a Gun.

Sandbagger 106, This radio is one of the old golden goodies, it has several brothers the likes of Cobra 138-139XLR, President Washington, Madison, Grant, Robyn 520D, Realistic TRC-449,457,458. All these radios were made by Uniden in the late 70s, they were some of the first 40 channel side band radios to come on the market, all these radios are one in the same on the inside, uses the UPD858 PLL system which can do 200 channels with no skipped channels. at present my base station and mobile sports three of these fine radios under 2 different names.
