what does the small screw in the corner of the BOTTOM of the microphone do , and how should it be adjusted ?

If it is by the earphone jack, that is used to adjust the headphones or amplified speaker volume.

nope, there is a small hole in the metal plate in the bottom of the microphone on one corner...with a phillips screw visible through the hole...what is it for ?

If it is a Phillips screw it is probably holding the bottom cover on.


I dont have one handy to look at, but take the botton cover off and you should be able to see if it just a cover screw.

It's to adjust the echo delay. To see the difference you'll need another radio/handi talki to listen unless you've got talkback. It will probably feedback iff the talkback is too loud.
