the mylar protector on the bottom of the antenna is coming off. is it ok to replace this with duct tape? thanks

I would suggest a piece of thin gauge plastic sheeting. The magnet will hold in place and leave no adheasive trace.

ya i took the antenna off and sure enough the glue
