I was told that a straight 40 AM radio is better than a 40 channel sideband radio for a competition -style set up, they put out a watt or so more bcuz they don't have the sideband circuits. Or something along those lines. To me it sounds kind of believable, but I need an informed opinion before I go out and buy another radio |

comp radios are pc33,pc122 or radio shack 465 same radio grant xl or lt 78xl 66xl old school cobra 29 or 148 ranger 396 or 696 galaxy 33,55,66

due right antanna is everthing in the ride for
key downs put as far back and in the middle
if u can i have a 95 toyata truck with 1 batt
and a 165 amp alt willson 1000 and a 3pill
with a 396 ranger and i make guys with 4 pill
shake there heads and i love to take out 667v
sometimes u will see a cheap radio and a ugly
amp in a ride those are the guys to watch out for
