I would like to know which KL amp is best suited for my particular use. I want an amp with a minimum 100 watts and capable of sideband. Maximum wattage is not my main concern, but durability and capability for long keydowns is important. The intended use is for mobile, and the radio driving the amp will be a Galaxy DX959
that is peaked/tuned. The antenna is a direct mounted Firestick KW-6
Thanks

Try the KL 400 or 500. Run it about 1 to 1.5 watts input from your radio. Long keydown will get them hot, so pay attention or use a fan. They are superb talking amps and excell on SSB. Both have seperate preamps as well.

Those are my choices (and I own the 351 Mod V) the older version of the 400).
