My new Galaxy Melaka base Very Nice works great, puchased and tuned from copper. My question is my tup 9 D - 104 doesn't seem to make any difference in my modulation, would it be recommended to cut what diode or what ? to make the modulation using D-104 louder, or another power mike. THanks Bob

Bob,

You don't want to cut any modulation limiter in any radio. The cons outway the pros.

You may have a bad element on the microphone, or even a half dead battery. I trust that you have at least checked the battery or replaced it.

I guess, my only other question would be, how loud is loud? Is the mic a significant improvement over the stock microphone or the same?
