BLACK IS GROUND WHITE IS AUDIO RED IS TRANSMIT I DONT THINK YOU USE THE YELLOW |

I can tell you this...
The radio uses a 4-pin mic with the following setup.
(1) MOD
(2) Shield/Ground
(3) RX
(4) TX
As far as which wires on the mic do what? I have no idea. |

i also have a tomohawk and i was wondering if you have had any trouble with yours yet ,and also would like to warn you it is a very common problem for these radios for all the lights (behind meters and lcd)to burn out after a while of use, ive had mine for 2 years and my bulbs just burned out 2 days ago . just wanted to let you know.

Do these lightbulbs have wire terminals coming out of the bottom of them which solder directly to the board? If so I have a fix for you.
I had them same problem in my Magnum 257, and I believe they use similar bulbs as your Tommahawk.
Go to Radio Shack an get part# 272-1092C. This is a package of 2, 12VDC, 60mA Micro Lamps with
the wire-terminal base. They are less than $2 for the two-pack.
You may need a few packs to replace all the bulbs, and YES, they are a royal pain in the arse to get to some of them.
