A friend of mine gave me his overvolted non-working 5-pill Davemade. I checked it out and 2 transistors and a couple of small resistors(1/2) watt I believe) were blown. I replaced them and it started working. However he had too small of wire and a fuseholder on it and I replaced it with an 8 guage, and took out the fuseholder. Its out put jumpped up. After 4 keydowns, of about 3 to 5 seconds, it shutdown again. Now I get nothing on any transistor except the driver. I had it on a stock 12 volt system. Is there anything I may have missed that caused the transistors to go out again? Or may it be something else? About to order 4 matched transistors but hate to lose them too. Any ideas on what to look for? Thanks Allen.

Hi Allen , you must before putting in new transistors see what caused them to blow. The best way is to check the voltages on RX. You should have 13.8 volts on one side of the transitor and LESS THAN 1 volt on the other. (Pills) You may want to check to see if the input or output decoupling capacitors are shorted , this will cause what you describe.
