I saw a Maco V5/8 antenna on a house with a wire connected to each ground plain radial,...thus making a complete square. The wire seemed to be attached at the very ends (close to the end caps) of the radials.

My questions are:

Why would one do this?

What are the advantages of doing it??

Thanks

Tech 833-

Thanks for the answers! Appreciate them for sure!

It's funny how much CB misinformation is out there,... people say, "such and such works", and "this and that",... Thanks for setting the record straight and for saving my rear-end from getting back up on the roof for nothing!LOL

Welcome Back!
