I have a Cobra 18 Ultra that has no transmit or receive. I have good audio on the scope but no transmit/receive. Anyone have any suggestions or ideals. I would like to find block diagram and schematics. CB Tricks does not have. Anyone know where I can get info.

Thanks,

PS 307 thanks for the President Grant fix.

if it is the radio that i am thinking about, it uses many smt boards that are soldered perpendicular to the main board. if this is the case, -CAREFULLY- resolder all the traces where these boards are soldered to the main pcb.

if this isn't that radio, then there will be a metal enlosure with no cover and filled with wax on the component side of the pcb. on the trace side, resolder this whole area. just do a little at a time so the board does not get too hot. if it does get hot, the wax will melt and come back out onto the solder side. solder and wax definitely do not make a good connection.
