I bought an old cobra 142 on the channel selector its only reading out part of the numbers on all the channels,what would be causing this to do this a burnt out bulb or somthing else?thank you |

You can take the knob off, (carefully)hook up a power drill and spin it for a second or two. This will remove grease that sometimes works it's way in there. Good luck, Hooty |

oh so i take the knob off and from the place where the knob was hook a drill on there on the drill chuck abd give it a spin?..i will give it a try thanks.  |

ok well i just tryed the drill thing and it didnt fix the problem  anyway where can i order that part from that shows the channel numbers?thanks |
